Meet Jean Krajec, RN, NTP

It’s time to find out what your better can feel like.

You remember a time when you could eat, move, live with confidence and ease….but those days feel like a distant memory. Are you wondering if there’s something you’re doing (or not doing) that’s lending to the problem?

You’re in the right place.

I’m Jean, and I help folks who know they don’t feel well, are having a tough time finding answers as to why and are ready to look at food and lifestyle for a solution.

I do this by:

  • teaching the connection between symptoms and diet/lifestyle

  • finding deficiencies and imbalances from the information you provide and certain points on the body

  • recommending adjustments to food, lifestyle habits and often, add supplementation

Many ‘solutions’ for the millions who live with physical conditions ranging from annoying to debilitating are symptom management. For many, this works-it allows them to get from one day to the next. For others, it can leave them feeling tied to medications (and their possible side effects) and discouraged that they’ll ever truly be better. Symptoms are the body’s way of communicating there’s imbalance somewhere (or multiple places) and, most likely, some level of dysfunction. Treating the symptom often does not treat the problem-and it runs the risk of causing further imbalance.

What makes Nutritional Therapy different?

Our unique approach to wellness teaches there are foundational systems that need to be balanced in order to experience optimal health: digestion, blood sugar regulation, fatty acids, minerals and hydration. A properly-prepared, nutrient-dense, whole food diet provides the nutrients to rebalance these systems and keep them running smoothly. We begin to experience the vast array of symptoms of dysfunction mentioned previously (plus so many more) when these systems are out of whack. Giving the body what it needs allows it to do what it is designed to do: restore balance, function and move toward health. Many experience full resolution of their symptoms, but even those who don’t will say they’re much better than when they started.

Nutritional Therapy also recognizes that you are unique. There is no one like you-your past, your physical makeup and chemistry, your mindset, how you do life-It’s called bio-individuality. That’s why discovery, collaboration and customized strategies are so important.

We’ll start with lots of information gathering:

  • an initial interview

  • an extensive questionnaire

  • a physical assessment

  • ‘food and mood’ journaling to uncover areas of imbalance

Using this information and your goals as our guide, we will come up with a dietary and lifestyle plan made just for you. Through our work together, you’ll come away not only feeling better, but with a new appreciation and understanding of the power of food!

I am dedicated to helping people find their better selves.

My training in Nutritional Therapy and 37 years as a registered nurse mean I have the expertise you need and deserve when exploring health problems and are looking for answers through natural means. That being said, I bet it’s even more important to you that you know you’re working with someone who ‘gets’ what it’s like to be stuck not feeling well and not know where to go, right?

I get it.

I have been right where you are. I know that feeling of frustration thinking this must just be my new normal (ugh). So when we work together, rest assured, you’re not just getting a trained Nutritional Therapist…you’re getting someone who truly understands what you’re going through.
